DESCRIPTION:Edinvert is a fully immersive handstand retreat for anyone interested in being upside down — whether you’re just starting out\, learning to kick up against a wall\, or already practicing advanced shapes and transitions. This week-long experience is designed to support\, challenge\, and inspire handstanders of all levels in a focused\, encouraging environment. \nEach day will include handstand workshops running in both the morning and afternoon\, led by four internationally renowned handbalance coaches. Sessions will cater to a wide range of abilities\, with different workshops on offer each block — so everyone should always be able to find something suited to their experience\, interests\, and goals. \nOutside of training time\, guests will be able to enjoy the wider resort facilities\, including wellness spaces\, sauna\, café and food hub\, and the wave pool. Surfing sessions will be available for anyone who would like to try. \nThis will be the first handstand immersion of its kind in Scotland\, bringing together a growing community of handstanders for a unique week of training\, connection\, and recovery. \nDates\n22nd – 27th March 2026Arrival on the 22nd\, workshops running from the morning of the 23rd. \nCatering\nThe retreat is fully catered at Lost Food\, Lost Shore’s food and beverage hub.A locals rate is also available for those not staying on-site\, which includes daily workshops and lunch. \nAccommodation\nResidential participants will stay in hilltop lodges overlooking the wave pool.Standard accommodation is shared twin rooms. DESCRIPTION:Get your kids stoked on surfing at Lost Shore. Our exciting week-long intermediate camp (Mon to Fri) is the perfect way for young surfers aged 7 to 16 to take their surfing to the next level. \nLed by our team of passionate and experienced surf coaches\, surfers will learn to master the reef line-up\, with guided and assisted take off where needed. Trimming along the open face and starting to link some turns together with some fun and freestyle along the way. \nAll improvers will be required to wear helmets on the reef and the camp is aimed at surfers comfortable in deeper water who have mastered the beginner whitewater. \nSpaces are limited – book early to secure your spot! When booking\, you only need to select the Monday at the start of each camp to secure your place for every day that week. \nMeet us at Lost Shore\nArrival at LSSR reception 30 mins prior to start time\, where you will check into your lesson. We’ll then kit you out with all your gear at the wetsuit desk\, then give you directions on where to get changed and meet your coach. Each daily session runs for 1.5 hours\, with a combination of on-land and on-water coaching. Pick up 2 hours after scheduled drop off daily. \nThrough the week\nChildren learn to navigate the line-up\, improved paddling technique\, catching unbroken waves and correct take-off and surf stance. They work through a structured programme of surf levels so they know how to progress and feel a sense of achievement as they do.
