We’ll then kit you out with all your gear at the wetsuit desk\, then give you directions on where to get changed and meet your coach. Each daily session runs for 1.5 hours\, with a combination of on-land and on-water coaching. Pick up 2 hours after scheduled drop off daily. \nThrough the week\nChildren learn to navigate the line-up\, improved paddling technique\, catching unbroken waves and correct take-off and surf stance. This week-long experience is designed to support\, challenge\, and inspire handstanders of all levels in a focused\, encouraging environment. \nEach day will include handstand workshops running in both the morning and afternoon\, led by four internationally renowned handbalance coaches. Sessions will cater to a wide range of abilities\, with different workshops on offer each block — so everyone should always be able to find something suited to their experience\, interests\, and goals. \nOutside of training time\, guests will be able to enjoy the wider resort facilities\, including wellness spaces\, sauna\, café and food hub\, and the wave pool. DESCRIPTION:As part of Rookie Rippers at Lost Shore\, international surf coach Philippe Malvaux is offering a FREE on-land coaching session for local young surfers. Aimed at experienced surfers\, taking place in our Event Studio\, the masterclass will look at video analysis of some of the world’s best surfers to help improve your surfing. Learn practical skills and tips that you can take into the water with you. \nPhilippe has been working as a high-performance coach for many years coaching the French and Italian national teams as well as for the WSL\, where he was also a judge. \nPlease note the session does not include a surf session and is entirely land-based. \nRecommended Age: 12 – 17 (however\, younger experienced surfers who will be engaged by the session are welcome to join us)\n\n\nTicket booking is required but is free.\n\nClick here for full Rookie Rippers Programme.

Lisa works with anyone from off the couch through to athletes in helping manage stress better in our everyday lives and high intense situations to help reach sustainable peak performance by integrating a 4 pillar system\, movement\, breath\, mindset & recovery. Her want to train in a wide spectrum of movement patterns came about from her passion for surfing\, long distance open water swimming\, movement & martial arts. Lisa’s approach is fun\, accessible and inclusive in a way that lets you understand your individual capabilities and teaches you to ignite the intelligence of the human body.
