DESCRIPTION:As part of Rookie Rippers at Lost Shore\, international surf coach Philippe Malvaux is offering a FREE on-land coaching session for local young surfers. Aimed at experienced surfers\, taking place in our Event Studio\, the masterclass will look at video analysis of some of the world’s best surfers to help improve your surfing. DESCRIPTION:O’Neill’s Rookie Rippers comes to Lost Shore this September! \n20 of the UK and Europe’s most promising young surfers will take to the waves at Lost Shore from 18th to 21st September for the 5th edition of O’Neill’s Rookie Rippers. \nHandpicked by legendary surf coach Philippe Malvaux\, the field includes 16 junior surfers\, 2 UK wildcards\, and 2 inspiring young athletes from the charity Surfers Not Street Children. Based in South Africa and Mozambique\, the charity empowers vulnerable children and young people through surfing\, offering mentorship and support to help them build brighter futures both in and out of the water. \nOver the weekend\, the surfers will be mentored by Team O’Neill athletes and guided by a world-class coach. This year’s team captains are Olympian Yolanda Hopkins and South Africa’s rising star Eli Beukes\, joined by former Rookie Rippers champions Kamiel Deraeve and Imari Hearn. DESCRIPTION:Lost Shore’s monthly film night continues with a screening of the cult classic Lords of Dogtown.\nDirected by Catherine Hardwicke and starring Heath Ledger and Emile Hirsch\, follows the surf and skateboarding trends that originated in Venice\, California during the 1970s through the story of the Z-Boys\, led by Tony Alva\, Jay Adams and Stacey Peralta\, pioneer\, and writer of the movie. \nBefore the screening\, we’ll also be hosting an evening of free surfskate tasters from residents The SurfSkate Academy\, skateboard freeriding on the beachfront and a post-film discussion celebrating the intrinsic relationship between surfing\, skateboarding and surfskating. And there’s a special a surf and film package available to purchase too. \nPlease note\, Lords of Dogtown is Rated-15. DESCRIPTION:Autumn 2025 \nWe’re stoked to introduce the Lost Shore After School Kids Club — the perfect way for young surfers to stay active\, build confidence\, and progress their surf skills in a fun\, supportive environment. \nEach session runs on one side of the pool\, with opportunities to surf both in the bay and on the reef. That means kids of all abilities are welcome — from beginners catching their first waves to kids already riding unbroken green waves. \nThis is a 4-week program where kids sign-up to either Tuesday or Friday sessions for a 4-week block\, ensuring consistent time in the water and steady progression. Over the course of the program\, surfers will develop their skills\, grow in confidence\, and have plenty of fun with their friends. \nOne block: £160 per child\nSpaces are limited — book early to secure your spot!

Lisa works with anyone from off the couch through to athletes in helping manage stress better in our everyday lives and high intense situations to help reach sustainable peak performance by integrating a 4 pillar system\, movement\, breath\, mindset & recovery. Her want to train in a wide spectrum of movement patterns came about from her passion for surfing\, long distance open water swimming\, movement & martial arts. Lisa’s approach is fun\, accessible and inclusive in a way that lets you understand your individual capabilities and teaches you to ignite the intelligence of the human body.
