These STEM Workshop Sessions are packed with hands-on science\, fun experiments\, and real-world learning — all designed to spark curiosity and get young minds thinking like scientists. \nWhether your child loves mixing\, measuring\, building\, or testing\, they’ll get stuck into creative challenges inspired by our School Education Programme\, which combines the power of outdoor adventure with purposeful learning. \nOur unique setting allows us to explore science in exciting ways — like testing water chemistry from our surf Cove\, learning about energy and motion through SurfSkate boards\, and thinking sustainably about how we interact with our environment. These workshops offer a taster of what local schools experience when they visit on an educational trip. \nAge range: 8+. There will be limited spaces for children under 8 to take part but they must be accompanied by an adult. \nArrival: Check in @ Lost Shore Reception. The resulting product is incredible. The six pack is headed up by 5 short films which George has made along the way. These films are guaranteed to put a huge smile on your face as you get treated to the view as George weaves through the tube. Enjoy a glimpse into the fun of hanging out and messing around with the crew. Hear George talking about the varying degrees and stages of wiping out. Plus enjoying the fun of cruising around in old cars during the mid-60s. The epic 22-minute edit of Echoes will transport you back in time to a very special day at Lennox Point. This newly remastered version of Echoes by Ray Argall is truly mind blowing. The Pink Floyd sound track never sounded so good. These workshops offer a taster of what local schools experience when they visit on an educational trip. \nAge range: 8+. DESCRIPTION:24 of Europe’s best surfers have been invited to join us for a groundbreaking surf showcase hosted at Europe’s newest inland wave park at the inaugural Hi-Land Fling. \nThe Hi-Land Fling brings together 24 world-class pro surfers for an unforgettable three-day event focused on high-performance surfing. Lost Shore will be showcasing our most advanced wave settings with competitors competing for ‘Best Air’ and ‘Best Wave’ titles. \nAs well as the competition there will be a film screening with Q&A\, DJs\, BBQ and an opportunity to surf with\, and meet\, the competitors.
