DESCRIPTION:Lost Shore’s monthly film night continues with a screening of the cult classic Lords of Dogtown.\nDirected by Catherine Hardwicke and starring Heath Ledger and Emile Hirsch\, follows the surf and skateboarding trends that originated in Venice\, California during the 1970s through the story of the Z-Boys\, led by Tony Alva\, Jay Adams and Stacey Peralta\, pioneer\, and writer of the movie. \nBefore the screening\, we’ll also be hosting an evening of free surfskate tasters from residents The SurfSkate Academy\, skateboard freeriding on the beachfront and a post-film discussion celebrating the intrinsic relationship between surfing\, skateboarding and surfskating. And there’s a special a surf and film package available to purchase too. \nPlease note\, Lords of Dogtown is Rated-15. Those aged under 15 will not be permitted to the screening. \nSchedule\nTuesday 16th September \n4.00pm – 7.00pm: Free Surfskate and skateboarding tasters & beachfront skateboard freeriding (weather dependant)\n4:30pm – 6.00pm: Beginner and improver surf lessons (see below for special Surf & Film package options)\n5.00pm – 6.00pm: Cruiser surf session  (see below for special Surf & Film package options)\n7.30pm – 9.45pm: Lords of Dogtown screening & post show talk \nCanteen will be open until 23:00\, so feel free to stick around and continue your evening!\n \nClick here for trailer \nSurf & Screening package\nCombine both to make the most of the day… and save £20 on your surf!
