School Wellbeing Day: Surf. Breathe. Focus.
Our School Wellbeing Day is designed specifically to support students in exam years to manage stress, build focus, and maintain balance.
The day includes:
- A coached surf session in the bay — a chance to move, reset, and experience flow.
- Two focused wellbeing sessions:
- Breathe: Evidence-based breathing techniques for managing exam stress in the moment and day-to-day.
- Flow: Understand how to access “flow state” as a way to recharge — through surfing and in everyday life.
We also introduce simple strategies for time management and balancing revision with ‘mental maintenance’. Students leave with tools to support their wellbeing far beyond their time at Lost Shore.
Age range: This workshop is aimed at students entering National 5, Higher or Advanced Highers. Note, this will only go ahead if there are a minimum of 8 people booked on to the workshop. If in the event of cancellation, you can choose to keep the surf lesson which will be booked at 11:30.
