Surf Networking Event at Lost Shore with The Wave Project
This is something a little bit different.
Hosted by The Wave Project and Lost Shore, this is networking, but not as you know it.
No awkward small talk.
No beige conference rooms.
Just good people, good energy, and good waves.
We’re bringing together business owners, leaders, creatives, charity workers and purpose-driven people for a Surf Networking Event at Lost Shore. All in support of The Wave Project’s life-changing surf therapy for young people.
Here’s how it works:
- 9am arrival, with surf lesson starting at 9:30am
- One hour in the water, catching waves, chatting in the line-up, encouraging each other
- After surfing, we head to the Lost Shore events space for coffee and a discussion on social impact. Everyone gets 2 minutes max to introduce themselves, and then we dig deeper.
- Share ideas, learn from each other, and explore how we can create positive change.
- Ends 12:30pm, with the option to stay longer for further discussion.
It’s for people who are interested in learning and sharing ideas about how business, investment, and charity can work together to do good in the world, and who’d rather build relationships in a wetsuit than a boardroom. If this sounds like something you’d enjoy being part of, please sign up below!
Cost – £40
Unsure about surfing? Lost Shore offers the perfect place to learn, and our lessons are accessible to all. There’s no expectation to be standing on your feet. Surfing can be lying on your tummy, jumping over the waves, or just being in the water enjoying yourself. This session is not about skill, it is about connection.
