Thanks for joining us!
We were delighted to be joined by some of the world’s top surfing talent. It felt a real celebration of how far surfing in Scotland and Europe has come, and what we can create at Lost Shore.
The competition featured a strong international field of surfers including Olympians, Challenger Series athletes, national champs and some of Europe’s most exciting rising talent.
We’re so pleased that Hi-Land Fling delivered, not only on incredible surfing but an amazing atmosphere too. The whole resort was buzzing with visitors and families enjoying music, food, drink, and of course all the action on display in the pool.
Thank you so much to our hard-working staff for making it happen, the athletes who took part, everyone who came down to enjoy the event – and to event partners Rubicon Raw, Thatchers Cider and Kia Europe/Vertu Motors for their support too.

Manoeuvres
Friday 8AM - 9AM
Suitable for advanced surfers that can take off in steep and powerful waves or surfers that can link different manoeuvres and read the different sections of a wave.
High Performance
Friday 9AM - 10AM
Suitable for elite surfers who are confident taking off on steep, powerful waves and linking critical manoeuvres.
Barrels
Friday 1PM - 2PM
Suitable for expert surfers that can take off in steep, powerful waves and link critical manoeuvres or surfers who can read the different sections of a wave and are comfortable in strong surf.
Turns to Tubes
Friday 3PM - 4PM
Suitable for elite surfers who are confident taking off on steep, powerful waves and riding barrel sections.

Pro Surf & Expression Session
6PM – 8PM
- Watch the athletes push the waves and showcase their surfing ahead of competition day.
Film Screenings
8:30PM onwards
- Enjoy a selection of athlete surf films screening throughout the evening in our Event Studio. Drop in to enjoy food, drinks and a relaxed social atmosphere.
Saturday - Competition Day
Get yourself in early for a surf and watch the pros warm up before the comp starts, or drop in on one of our public sessions running throughout the day.

Round 1, Round 2 + Finals

Lost Kitchen is our all-day food hub set right beside the waves, where you can refuel and relax with a great view of the surf while enjoying fresh coffee, nourishing food and refreshing drinks flowing.
