Board Hire
At Lost Shore we have an amazing range of rental surfboards and bodyboards suitable for all abilities and styles. Our prices range from £10 for standard bodyboards to £25 for premium artisanal surfboards. We require a form of ID to rent a board, please bring this with you.
We will also from time to time have demo days, where different surfboard manufacturers bring their latest surfboard models to Lost Shore for you to try and enjoy! Sign up to our newsletter to be the first to know about upcoming demo days.
With our extensive range, we always have the perfect board for you, and our experienced staff will help you find exactly what you need. Board rental is subject to availability and walk-in only, just visit reception before your session.

Terms & Conditions
- We require a valid form of photo identification to be held as a deposit for the duration of the rental or demo period. Identification will always be stored safely in a locked space; however, Lost Shore Surf Resort holds no responsibility for any losses or damages while in our possession.
- Upon completion of the rental or demo period, equipment must be returned to the Surf Shop, where any photo identification left as deposit can be collected.
- We reserve the right to charge an additional rental or demo fee for late return. A late return is defined as any return that takes place 1 hour after the end of the session(s) booked. An extension of the rental period is only possible by prior arrangement.
- In the event of early return, you are not entitled to a pro rata refund for any outstanding sessions.
- You are not permitted to modify the rental or demo equipment in any way without prior consent from the staff.
- If you discover that equipment is not in perfect condition, you are required to inform staff immediately to ensure any damaged equipment is not used in the pool.
- You are responsible for the surfboard during the rental period. In the event of loss or theft, you are liable for the full replacement cost of the board, as determined by Lost Shore Surf Resort based on it’s current market value. It is your responsibility to ensure the board is secured when not in use. We recommend never leaving the board unattended in public spaces.
- If equipment damage occurs during the rental period by accident, you will not be liable for any repair cost. Where equipment damage occurs due to misuse, negligence or failure to follow safety guidelines provided by Lost Shore Surf Resort, you may be liable for the full cost of repair or replacement. The total cost will be assessed by Lost Shore Surf Resort based on our standard repair rates or the fair market value of the board.
- Please ensure you collect your photo ID in person, as we cannot guarantee we will be able to send it via post if left behind.
